The Best Summer Breakfast

Nevin's verdict is in.  The best summertime breakfast is... Northern Ontario blueberries courtesy of PapaBear, raspberries courtesy of Nana (and her garden), homemade granola courtesy of Daddy, and homemade yogurt courtesy of Mommy (and her love of bacteria).

Maple granola recipe below....

Maple Granola
(from Temple's Sugar Camp)
5 cups oats
1 cup unsweetened coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup pumpkin seeds (I used sunflower seeds)
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup water
2/3 cup maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla

1. Combine the first five ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Combine dry ingredients and pour over oat mixture stirring to incorporate.
3. Bake on sheet pan at 250 F for 35 minutes, stirring twice.
